Eric Deken
Founder & Executive Director
Screamin' Demons Sports Group was founded with a simple vision: to create a youth sports organization where athletes are challenged to compete, encouraged to grow, and supported both on and off the field.
With years of experience coaching, officiating, and leading youth athletic organizations throughout Northwest Ohio, Eric is passionate about developing athletes while building character, confidence, and leadership through sports.
His coaching philosophy centers around creating positive relationships with athletes and families, teaching the fundamentals of the game, and helping every player reach their full potential in an environment built on respect, accountability, and teamwork.
As Executive Director, Eric oversees the organization's daily operations, long-term planning, player development initiatives, community partnerships, fundraising efforts, and continued growth of Screamin' Demons Sports Group.

Officiating Experience
Eric has over a decade of experience officiating high school athletics throughout Ohio.
His officiating career includes:
- OHSAA Soccer Official
- OHSAA Softball Umpire
- Northwest Ohio Soccer Referee of the Year (2017)
- OHSAA Boys Soccer Referee of the Year (2020)
- Multiple OHSAA Tournament Assignments, including Regional, State Semifinal, and State Final matches
